WCQG Scholarship for Graduating Seniors in Wise County
2026 Scholarship
The Wise County Quilt Guild is pleased to offer a $500 scholarship to support a graduating high school senior in the Class of 2026. Our goal is to encourage students in our community as they pursue their educational goals.
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicant must be a 2026 graduating senior
- Applicant must reside in Wise County
- Applicant must plan to attend a college, university, trade school, or vocational program
- Applicant must fill out the application in full. Partial applications will not be accepted
- All applications must include at least one letter of recommendation
- Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate financial need
Scholarship is awarded at the Sole Discretion of the Wise County Quilt Guild
Deadlines
February 26 - March 31: Accepting Applications
April 1: All applications must be received or postmarked by this date (late applications will not be accepted)
April 24: Winner will be notified.
(Note: winner must provide proof of enrollment to receive the award. Award will be paid directly to the school on the student's behalf)
